We made it back safely this afternoon from our whirlwind trip to Illinois for the Hearts at Home Conference. It was a lot of time on the road, but was wonderful! It was such a blessing to have all that time with my adorable and loving hubby. We had fabulous sales and met many wonderful moms from all over the Midwest. I knew that I was really missing the children when I got weepy at the sight of a family with 4 little ones eating lunch at Arby's today! :-)
The grandmas did an excellent job taking care of the kids. Eleanor is almost potty trained...hooray! We're still working out the details, but we're getting close. The 2 big girls each helped sew 2 skirts to add to their wardrobes. The children made it to all of their classes and Mass. They even cleaned up the house for a showing! Now that's Grandma Power!
Now, we're back into it. We'll be focusing on Lent these next weeks and trying to be joyful in our sacrifices. Please pray for us as we muddle our way back into our routine.
God Bless!
Heather :-)

ReplyDeleteThat's not so bad - we only forgot the booster seat! Maybe we can stop by and pick it up after family formation on the 1st.
