Hearts At Home Give Away

Here I am at  my booth with little Peter.
Todd, Peter and I just returned from a whirlwind trip to the National Hearts At Home Conference in Normal, Illinois.  Both of the grandmas came to our house to stay with six of the children and we brought baby Peter along for the ride.  What on earth would we do without grandmas?!?  We had a great time away together and enjoyed visiting with all of the amazing mothers, listening to some of the speakers, and selling our products.

There were over 6,000 Christian women in attendance on Friday and Saturday.  There were many smiles and laughter and of course a bit of crying...what do you expect when you get that much estrogen in one location?!  I enjoyed sharing my products and stories of my own mothering journey with all of the mamas who come to see me in my booth.

To celebrate my seventh Hearts at Home Conference as a vendor, I'm giving away a Happy Mom t-shirt in either white or grey.  Just leave a comment telling me your favorite part of the weekend and I'll choose a winner on Monday, March 26th at 9:00 a.m.  Any comments left before that time will be included in the drawing.

Good luck and God Bless!

Wedding Day Memories and Give Away

Yesterday was our 13th anniversary.  I had a good time taking out the wedding album.  The kids and I paged through it, looking at that young couple who was so happy and so much in love.  I am happy to report that while we aren't as young as we once were, we are still very much happy and in love with each other.

I am the kind of gal who is an emotional roller coaster.  Anyone remember the Terri Clark song Emotional Girl?  My dad actually bought me that CD because the song fit me so perfectly.  So, it was assumed by all that I would be a blubbering mess during the wedding ceremony.  Much to the surprise of all, it was Todd who choked up during our exchange of vows and I was rock solid - go figure!

I have the perfect give-away to help celebrate our 13 years of wedded bliss.

For t-shirt details, click here
It's a t-shirt that carries a simple and very strong message.  Most people think it is some kind of a joke and ask me to turn around so that they can see the "punch line" on the back.  I just tell them, "It's no joke.  I really do love my husband."

You can have up to 3 chances to enter - please leave a separate comment for each (makes it easier on my part!)
1)  Leave a comment with a favorite memory of your wedding ceremony.
2)  Become a follower or leave a comment telling me that you're already a follower.
3)  Blog about the giveaway and leave me a comment telling me.

I'll accept entries up until midnight CST on Friday night and do the drawing on Saturday morning.

Good luck ladies!

Go Visit Blossoming Joy's Gratitude Giveaway

Melody over at Blossoming Joy is hosting a Gratitude Giveaway.  She is a fellow homeschooling mom and devout Catholic.  I have learned so much from her and have enjoyed getting to "know" her through her blog.  Take a moment to think about what you are thankful for and leave a comment on her blog to be entered in the drawing.
She has put together two great Easter baskets.  I donated a few items - you'll have to take a peek to see what's in them!

I must admit that I have spent a lot of time lately thinking about all the many blessings in my life.  My list gets longer and longer each time I sit down to reflect.  As we approach Holy Week, I am so thankful that Jesus came to die for my sins - now THAT is what love is all about!  My fabulous husband and lovely children are next on my list.  Our health insurance and health care system have blessed me immensely these past few weeks as we worked through our miscarriage.  All of the day to day things that I often take for granted - my home, food, clean water, appliances, a vehicle to drive, clothing - these things often fly under my gratitude radar, but must be properly remembered and appreciated.  Finally, I pray that I may always share my many gifts and blessings however and whenever the Lord gives me the opportunity to do so.

God Bless!
