Family Formation is a religious education program that focuses around parents being the primary educators of their children. We used the program at home for a year and a half and absolutely loved it! Then we found the Church of St. Paul in Ham Lake, MN (actually the parish that developed it) and enrolled our family with their Family Formation group.

I cannot say enough good things about this program. We set aside Sunday evening as our Family Formation night where we do the lesson and then have a special treat. The whole family looks forward to it. We learn the faith, memorize scripture verses, discuss how our faith applies in our daily lives, and much, much more. And all this happens while we're having a good time.

I'm not trying to sound like a commercial for Family Formation, but it truly is a great program. Check out their website if you think your family could us a little extra help with your formation in the Catholic faith.
